Breakfast Sliders (no b.s. here, just deliciousness!)

assembled breakfast sliders

I love Kings Hawaiian style rolls, particularly to make sandwhiches with. I also like baking "egg muffins" in a muffin pan. Thinking those two would be about the same size, I had the idea to combine the two into a breakfast slider!!

In particular, I thought this would be a great dish for a post run tailgate party - something small that could be held in one hand and eaten easily. Also something hearty (hash browns) with some flavor variety (red onion & taco seasoning)

Does this have to be served immediately after cooking? Or can this dish be kept & keep warm to serve after cooking?

This dish can do either! if you wrap each slider in aluminum foil and place into an insulated container (a cooler without ice in it), the sliders can be kept warm for a few hours. Helpful when taking for a tailgate party after a Saturday long run!

Can any of this be prepped ahead of time? (say, the night before a Saturday morning long run)?

Yes! The egg mixes can be baked in the oven ahead of time, refrigerated overnight, then put back in the oven for a few minutes the next day to reheat, saving some prep time that day
