I love Bruschetta and always have! It’s a simple, tasty appetizer/side dish that can be made super quickly. It’s also super versatile and can be added to with a number of dishes, either as an appetizer/side or even made as part of the dish!
Can any variations be made with the Bruschetta mix?
Certainly! You can switch out the garlic powder for garlic cloves, or try different cheeses, such as mozzarella. Also, rather than using bread, sometimes I like to have this with tortilla chips!
Does this have to be served immediately after preparation? Or can this dish be kept to serve later?
This dish can do either! You can either add it on top of some toasted bread or tortilla chips immediately, or you can store it in the refrigerator to serve later. When I find myself with an event to go to immediately after work where I need to bring a dish, but I don’t have time to cook immediately before, this is one I like to go with. I can make up the bruschetta mix the night before, store it in the refrigerator during the day, then grab it to take to the event I’m going to.
