During the week leading up to a 13 mile progression run, I was trying to decide what to cook to take to the post run tailgate after. We were going to be running fast, so I knew I wanted to make something extra tasty and filling. I kept going between either making some sort of small pizza bites or frying up wontons, so I decided to combine the two! What resulted is something with so much flavor in such a small package that's easy to eat by hand after a tough workout. It was a big hit! Recipe is below - I hope you enjoy!
Grocery Ingredients
- Wonton Wraps (1 bag) (3 wraps per supreme pizza wonton)
- 1 jar Pizza Sauce (1 can)
- Mozzarella Shredded Cheese (1 bag) (2 tablespoons per supreme pizza wonton)
- Pepperoni (1 bag) (3 pepperoni per wonton)
- 1 Red Onion (1- diced) (1 tablespoon per supreme pizza wonton)
- 1 stick Green Onion (sliced) (1 tablespoon per supreme pizza wonton)
- 2 cup Sliced Mushroom (3 mushrooms per supreme pizza wonton)
- .25 cup Basil (ground) (1 teaspoon per supreme pizza wonton)
