It was only my 2nd time to one, so as we were strolling the aisles, I was keeping an eye out for unique and interesting offerings. One in particular that caught my eye was Truffle Flavored Barbecue Sauce. I bought it, took it home & tried it, and LOVED IT! The sauce has a unique look and a very distinct taste. Does this have to be served immediately after cooking? Or can this dish be kept & keep warm to serve after cooking?
This dish can do either! if you wrap each quesadilla in aluminum foil and place into an insulated container (a cooler without ice in it), the quesadilla can be kept warm for a few hours. Helpful when taking for a tailgate party after a Saturday long run!
Can any of this be prepped ahead of time? (say, the night before a Saturday morning long run)?
Yes! You can slice the cheese & the vegetables the night before. Then you can pull them out, combine, and cook the next day.
Did you make this recipe? Let me know in the comments!
